I don't consider this a problem or anything, I'm just thrown off a little and I don't feel comfortable saying it to her again. It maybe stung a little bit when she didn't say it back but she was great at reassuring me how much she cares about me and how into me she is, so I don't have any doubts. I'd discuss this with him; if you like and respect him it's best to be forthright about your concerns and see is he's open to compromise. As another poster has said, the lack of progressive intimacy would only be one of the issues - I'd have concerns about his views on spousal roles, personal autonomy in a marriage and divorce as well.
